Top vent screens, or screened inner covers, are designed to help keep your hive ventilated. They work well when relocating your hives or when used as a ventilated inner cover in hot weather. The Top Vented Screen is constructed with heavy-duty #8 hardware cloth and extra reinforcement for long-term use. Works with either a 10-frame or 8-frame Langstroth-sized hive (select from the dropdown) and will fit under a standard telescoping outer cover.

Pro Tip:Â If you’re using this vented screen to move bees, add a sheetrock screw or duplex nail on each long side of the cover to secure it in place. If you’re using the screened cover in combination with a ratchet strap, align the strap with the center crossbar.
